Ducky is not code signed yet. Because of this, macOS Gatekeeper and Windows SmartScreen may show a warning. This is expected. Follow the steps below.

macOS — Open Anyway

  1. 1
    Download Ducky
Open the downloaded Ducky .dmg file.
  2. 2
    Move to Applications
Drag Ducky into your Applications folder.
  3. 3
    Open once
Open Ducky. macOS may say, Ducky can't be opened because Apple cannot verify it.
  4. 4
    Choose Open Anyway
Open System Settings, choose Privacy & Security, scroll down, then select Open Anyway.
You only need to do this once. Future launches work normally.

Windows — Run Anyway

    Download installer
Download the Windows x64 setup file.
  2. 2
    Launch setup
Open the installer from your Downloads folder.

    SmartScreen appears
Windows may show a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning.
  4. 4

Microsoft shows this because Ducky is not code signed yet. It does not mean the application is unsafe.
